Today is the Vernal Equinox or for those of you who have completely blocked out 9th grade Earth Science, The First Day of Spring. Some first day huh? It's freezing! Anway all I want to encourage you to try before the day is over is balancing an egg. It is said that on the Autumnal Equinox (first day of fall) and the Vernal Equinox it is possible to get an egg to stand up straight because the Earth's axis is, well, equal or no longer at a tilt just for today, hence equinox or, well, equal.
